Peter hat seinen 1. Marathonlauf 1974 bestritten. Inzwischen hat er weit über hundert Läufe im Bereich Marathon und Ultra hingelegt. Sein Wahlspruch lautet: Was mich nicht umbringt, das macht mich nur härter! Peter kommt von der Bergsteigerei und hat mehrfach Vier-, fünf-, Sechs und Siebentausender auf drei Kontinenten bestiegen. Peter kam hier in Situationen, in denen der Großteil wohl nie hineingeraten wird. Er ist daher bestens auf den "TE-FR 09" vorbereitet. Nach einem Schlüsselerlebnis ist er zum Laufen gekommen. Hier eine KLEINE Aufzählung seiner Laufabenteuer: 6-Tage-Rennen in Erkrath, 48 Std.-Läufe, eine Woche auf dem Laufband mit 555,55 km, Spartathlon. Den TE-FR 2009 wird Peter, wie auch 2009, mit einem TRETROLLER durchführen. Natürlich außer Konkurrenz!
